Prinášame rozsiahlu fotogalériu najočákavanejšej tohtoročnej novinky značky Volvo. Druhá generácia veľkého športovo-úžitkového modelu XC90 prináša novú podvozkovú platformu, novú koncepciu interiéru, nový štylistický jazyk a zásadný downsizing. Pod kapotou nájdeme výhradne štvorvalcové motory.

Prvé dojmy z živého stretnutia s Volvom XC90 prinesieme v septembrovom vydaní tlačeného Autožurnálu. Na teraz ponúkame rozsiahlu galériu a základné fakty.

Novinka meria na dĺžku 4.950 milimetrov, na šírku 2.008 mm a na výšku 1.775 mm. Rázvor osí kolies dosahuje 2.984 mm, zatiaľ čo štandardná svetlá výška podvozka má hodnotu 237 mm. Kabína môže byť päť- alebo sedemmiestna.

Použitie novej modulárnej platformy dovolilo medzigeneračne usporiť až 200 kilogramov hmotnosti. Nová XC-deväťdesiatka váži minimálne 1.940 kg. K dispozícii budú výhradne štvorvalcové motory s objemom 2.0 litra a tri typy prerozdeľovania krútiaceho momentu na kolesá. Štandardom je vždy osemstupňová automatická prevodovka Aisin s hydrodynamickým meničom.

Základná motorizácia nesie označenie D4 a tvorí ju turbodiesel s výkonom 140 kW (190 k). Tento agregát roztáča výhradne predné kolesá. Silnejší diesel sa ukrýva za skratkou D5. Dopujú ho dve turbodúchadlá, pričom výkonové maximum predstavuje 165 kW (225 k). Najvyšší krútiaci moment 470 Nm smeruje na všetky štyri kolesá prostredníctvom konvenčného kardanového hriadeľa a elektronicky ovládanej medzinápravovej spojky.

To isté platí pre dve zážihové verzie – T5 prepĺňa výhradne turbodúchadlo (187 kW/254 k, 350 Nm), T6 kombinuje kompresor a turbodúchadlo (320 kW/400 k, 400 Nm).

088 Interior overview

Vrcholom v ponuke bude plug-in hybrid. Tvorí ho prepĺňaný zážihový dvojliter, roztáčajúci predné kolesá a vzadu uložený elektromotor, pôsobiaci na zadné kolesá. Pohon 4×4 je tým pádom dosiahnutý bez mechanického prepojenia náprav. Plug-in hybrid nesie označenie T8, disponuje kombinovaným výkonom 294 kW (400 k), najvyšším krútiacim momentom 400 Nm a v čisto elektrickom režime prejde najviac 40 kilometrov.

Zásadnými zmenami prešiel interiér, najmä palubná doska. Desiatkami tlačidiel známe Volvo zmenilo taktiku a presedlalo na dotykový displej pripomínajúci tablet. V XC90 ďalej debutuje nová generácia sedadiel. Sedačky by mali byť pohodlnejšie a zároveň účinne pohlcovať energiu v prípade nárazu.

110 City Safety intersection

Švédi počas vývoja venovali najviac pozornosti práve bezpečnosti. V útrobách Volva XC90 debutuje nadstavba bezpečnostného systému City Safety. Jej úlohou je zabrániť zrážke, prípadne zmierniť jej následky, ak šofér Volva urobí chybu a na križovatke nedá prednosť inému vozidlu. Elektronika automaticky aktivuje brzdenie, keď zistí, že Volvo odbočuje a prechádza pri tom cez jazdnú dráhu oproti idúcemu vozidlu. Systém údajne funguje pri nízkych i vyšších rýchlostiach. Uplatnenie by si teda mal nájsť nielen v meste, ale aj na okreskách.

Slovenský importér odhaduje, že prvé kusy novinky sa na Slovensku objavia až v marci budúceho roka. Napriek tomu, už teraz poznáme aspoň základnú cenu – 49.990 eur. Ostatné čiastky budú zverejnené až krátko pred odštartovaním predajov u nás.
